Rev. Varney N. Boimah is the moderator of the
Presbyterian Church of Liberia. He was elected
to this position on November 22, 2006.
He was elected the 2nd Vice President of the
Liberian Council of Churches on August 18,
2007. Rev. Boimah received a Bachelor's Degree
in Bible Education from Carver Bible College in
Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He also has a Diploma in
Theology and an AA in Teacher's Education from
KRTTI.

Dr. Benjamin D. Lartey, African Methodist
Episcopal Zion Church, General Secretary
Dr. Lartey has been deeply involved in a variety
of church and inter-religious councils and
organisations in Liberia and West Africa, and has
represented the Liberian Church at the 2006
World Council of Churches, and at the 2003 and
2008 All Africa Council of Churches. In addition
to his position at the LCC, he is also en executive
committee member of the Fellowship of Christian
Councils and Churches in West Africa
(FECCIWA) for which he was also acting
Secretary General from 2007-2008. He is also
currently an executive committee member of the
Inter-Religious Council of Liberia (IRCL), a
Coordinator of the West Africa Inter-Religious
Council Coordinating Committee (WAIRCCC),
and is on the board of the United Methodist
University. He has studied in Liberia, Sierra
Leone, England, the US and Switzerland. He
holds a BA (Honors) in Business Studies, an
MBA in Finance and Administration, and a
postgraduate diploma in Finance and
Management. He also holds diplomas in Church
Polity and Finance and Development Studies.

Economist/Financial Management Consultant. He
has worked in a variety of positions in business,

Rev. Jallah holds a Master's Degree in Peace &
Governance from the Institute of Peace ,
Leadership & Governance, Mutare , Zimbabwe ,
2006, a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from the
Gbarnga School of Theology, United Methodist
University in Monrovia , Liberia, 2000 and a
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights, Peace
and Security, from the Sida International Training
Program, Uppsala , Sweden, 2008 . Rev. Jallah is
a Parish Priest of the Lutheran Church in Liberia,
assigned at the Muhlenburg Lutheran Parish in
the Township of Millsburg, Monsterrado County.

and Young Adults Desk
Mother Laverne Innis, Coordinator, Women
and Children's Desk
Mother Innis became coordinator of the women
and children's desk in June 2008. She is also the
secretary of the Ecumenical Women's
Organization of Liberia, the Chaplain of the
Episcopal Church Women of Liberia, and the
Assistant Secretary of the Advosory Council of
the Episcopal Church of Liberia. She has
previously held a number of high-ranking
positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She
holds a BA Degree in Sociology and English from
the University of Liberia, and has completed a
Diplomatic Course in the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs.

Rev. St John York, Coordinator, Inter-
Religious Affairs Desk/PROCMURA
Rev. York is an ordained minister of the United
Methodist Church, previously Senior Pastor at
the John Wesley UMC. He has also been an
instructuor at the Gbarnga School of Theology.
Rev. York holds a Master's Degree in Inter-
religious Affairs from St. Paul's University in
Nairobi, Kenya, and a BA from United Methodist
University in Monrovia.
Christine Dolo, HIV/AIDS Coordinator
Mrs. Dolo has been HIV/AIDS Coordinator for
the LCC since 2009. Prior to this position she has
worked as a high school psychosocial counsellor
for the DDRR programme, and also as a primary
school teacher. She was trained in 2007 by
UNESCO in HIV/AIDS and psychosocial
counselling.
Rev. Victoria M. Tweh, Administrative
Assistant to the General Secretary of the
LCC for the Fellowship of Christian Councils
and Churches in West Africa (FECCIWA)
Rev. Tweh is a minister for the Pentecostal
Assemblies of the World (PAW). She holds a
first degree (BA) in Theology and Religious
Education from AME Zion University in
Monrovia.
